Priyanka Chopra in talks for Don 3 with Ranveer Singh

Director Farhan Akhtar revealed the production of Don 3 in August, with Ranveer Singh set to take on the titular role after Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. While the female lead has yet to be officially confirmed, media reports suggest Priyanka Chopra is being considered to reprise her role as Roma Bhagat. Sources indicate that discussions about Priyanka reprising the character in Don 3 initiated during her recent visit to India, marking a potential return to the franchise after portraying the role in Don 2.

According to a source, “The team of ‘Don 3’ has indeed approached Priyanka Chopra to revisit her character. In fact, the first few meetings also took place when Priyanka came to India recently for another professional commitment. She used her time in India to align the talks and figure out her next project in the Hindi film industry.”

In August, Farhan Akhtar, director of “Don” (2006) and “Don 2” (2011), announced on social media that the production of “Don 3” is scheduled to commence in 2025. The iconic character of Don was co-created by his father Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan, with Amitabh Bachchan playing the original Don in the 1978 release.
