The death case of late actor SSR is being investigated by three agencies, CBI, NCB and NIA. Now we have a report that a new petition has been filed at Madhya Pradesh High Court that requests a ban on a short film, Priya that is based on the life of the late actor.
A resident of Sharda Vihar Colony, Jabalpur, Mahesh Kumar Vishwakarma has filed the petition requesting the court to put a stay order on the release of the film. In his petition, he has stated that a 30-minute short film has been made by Jabalpur Flix Film Production on the late actor, and will release on 25th November at Samadadia Mall in Jabalpur. He further said that as the CBI investigation is going on in SSR’s death case, the film documenting his life should be banned. He also stated that his mysterious death is surrounded by several rumors.
The petitioner’s advocate KK Rajak, said that the petition cited that the actor’s death has been overshadowed by various claims in the media recently. Some are not ready to take his death as a suicide while some are claiming his death to be nothing but suicide. And in such a case anything that the documentary remain deficient of can affect the trial. This is why the petitioner has requested for a ban.
