Pending shoot of ‘Shamshera’ postponed as Sanjay Dutt’s doctors asked him to rest after hospitalisation

Just last week, actor Ranbir Kapoor met the director of his upcoming movie Shamshera, Karan Malhotra at Yash Raj studios to plan out the dates for shooting the last stretch of the movie. Only a few days of the film were left to shoot which was supposed to be done this week. Even the Andheri studio was set erected for the shoot. But all these plans of the filmmaker are put to a stop because of the ill health of Sanjay Dutt. After complaining of breathlessness, Sanjay was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The shoot has been deferred by the director.
A source revealed; “Sanjay sir has only three days’ work remaining. While he was discharged yesterday, the doctors have advised him to avoid strenuous activities. He will st it out for four to five days before reporting to work.”
In Shamshera, set in the 19th century, you will see Ranbir Kapoor as the leader of a dacoit tribe, revolting against the British Raj. Sanjay Dutt is playing the role of an antagonist. You will see Ranbir in a double role for the first time in this film.
