Om Puri Passed Away In His 60’s

Bollywood most verstile Veterne actor Om Puri passed away on Friday after heart attack at his residence he was only 66, this news was confirmed by family friend of actor.

According to reports after receiving shocking news of Om Puri’s death his old friends and colleagues from film industry arrived to his place to pay last respects.

Apart from Indina cinema actor has also worked in Pakistani, British and Hollywood cinema, actor received OBE and Padma Shri award for his outstanding contribution in Indian Cinema

Actor also became part of art films movement in 70’s. Worked in number of acclaimed flick like Bhavni Bhavai (1980), Sadgati (1981), Ardh Satya (1982), Mirch Masala (1986) and Dharavi (1992).

Actor did his acting training from Film and Television institute of India, me made his debut in cinema with Marathi flick Ghashiram Kotwal in 1976.

His body is kept in his residence at Andheri  for paying last respects.
