No Bad Blood Between Ranveer Singh and Aditya Chopra, Says Shanoo Sharma

Ranveer Singh, one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, left Yash Raj Films (YRF) in 2022. Many wondered if the split caused any hard feelings. Shanoo Sharma, YRF’s casting director, cleared the air by saying there is no bad blood between Ranveer and YRF chief Aditya Chopra. She said, “It didn’t hurt that he left. There must be a reason why YRF was okay with him going.”

Shanoo explained that in the film industry, things change naturally. Sometimes collaborations end and new ones begin. She added that Ranveer needed to move on, and the decision was accepted by all parties. Shanoo also mentioned that she remains good friends with Ranveer, showing that their personal relationship is strong.

Ranveer started his career with YRF in 2010 with the film Band Baaja Baaraat and worked on many movies with them. After leaving YRF, he joined a new talent agency and continued doing successful films. His next release is Dhurandhar, coming on December 5, 2025.This shows that sometimes career choices lead to new paths, but respect and friendship can stay unchanged between stars and their original production houses.
