NCB registers a case under NDPS Act to investigate the drug angle in SSR case

After noticing a drug angle in SSR’s death case from the chats of Rhea, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) wrote to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and asked them to investigate over this  angle. On the basis of this, the NCB registered a case under NDPS Act.

Rakesh Asthana, The chief of the bureau told, “We have filed a case on the basis of the letter from the ED.” He also said that the agency will conduct an inquiry soon.

He said that during the ED investigation on the financial aspect on SSR case, they discovered a drug supply to Rhea Chakraborty. And it was then that ED wrote to NCB to investigate over this matter.

The talent manager of Rhea, Jaya Saha, was called upon by the ED for questioning after they saw drugs related conversation of the actress with her, However the ED didn’t disclose on the kind of drugs give to the late actor.
