My priority is Bollywood: Ileana

Ileana D’Cruz is good at histrionics and has a fabulous body any woman would love to possess. she has chiseled features and a figure to die-for Devadasu, became the year’s first major commercial success, eventually grossing around  14 crores, whilst earning Ileana the Filmfare Award for best actress. She born 1 November, 1987, in Mumbai, who predominantly appears in telugo film, Starting her career as a model, she has three siblings. She gets her acting education from supreet sandhu (close friend)

In 2005, D’Cruz was called for an audition by director Teja, but the project was cancelled,  She instead made her feature film debut in the film Devadasu  (2006).  She next appeared opposite Mahesh Babu in the action flick Pokiri in which she portrayed an aerobics teacher. The film was a huge financial success, emerging the highest-grossing Telugu film of all time until then, as well as Ileana’s biggest commercial success.

She has made only a couple of Tamil films, clearly preferring to stick to the Telugu film industry; but she is still sought-after by filmmakers down south. However, the actress, who is all set to debut in Bollywood, says that Hindi films will be her priority for now. “Like any debutante trying to make a mark in a new industry, I have to give it the importance it needs,” she says.

So, what about the south film industry that gave her name and fame? “I can’t completely abandon the south Indian film industry. I have tremendous respect for the industry that has given me great support.

 As for her B-Town debut with Anurag Basu’s flick, she says, it has a learning experience, helping me grow as an actor,” says Ileana.

She would make her Hindi debut with the Barfi as the role of a narrator starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. She has also completed filming for Puri Jaganadh’s Devdu Chesine Manushulu that will see her playing a taxi driver. The actress also reveals that she is yet to sign on her second Bollywood film, despite reports that she will play Shahid Kapur’s heroine in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Phata Poster Nikla Hero.
