Mumbai Saga casting John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi will be shot in Mumbai

As informed by the director, Sanjay Gupta, the last leg of Mumbai Saga will be shot in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad and was scheduled to start on 15^th of July. He also picked out a team of 30 people that included the leading actors John Abraham and Emran Hashmi But as the COVID cases have increased in the recent month, the director decided to call off the shoot in Hyderabad. In his interview with a publication, he revealed that this decision was made after a discussion with his co-producers and leading men during his one-week trip to Mumbai.

He said:

“The country recorded 30,000 cases in a single day. Moreover, the World Health Organisation’s [WHO] statement about the possibility of the virus being airborne was alarming. It stated that the virus can remain in the air in crowded closed spaces. Of the 14-day shoot that I had planned, we were to film at three indoor sets for 10 days. That would have posed a risk. We wanted to shoot in Hyderabad, but now it’s as unsafe as Mumbai. So, we might as well do it in our city.’

However now the director wishes to get back to shooting and complete the project. He has postponed the new shooting date to August 15. He also admitted that the dates can be pushed further.
