Many of the TV actors came forward to express their grief on the demise of another legend, Jagdeep

The year 2020 has not been kind to us at all. Not only because of Coronavirus, but because we have lost many legends and gems from the Bollywood industry. This time it was Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jafri, who was a veteran actor and comedian and better renowned in the industry as Jagdeep. The actor was best known for his iconic comedy role of Soorma Bhopali in an all-time blockbuster Sholay. Jagdeep appeared in around 400 films and played memorable roles in Purana Mandir and in Andaz Apna Apna.

Jagdeep was 81 and was not keeping well. A news agency got the news of his demise from producer Mehmood Ali, a close family friend. He said, “He passed away at 8.30 pm at his residence in Bandra. He was not keeping well due to age related issues,” He was the father of Jaaved Jaaferi and Naved Jaffrey.

On hearing this sad news, many bollywood actors came forward to express their grief. Many of the TV stars including Ali Asgar Kiku Sharda, Rohitashv Gour, Rohit Roy, Karan Tacker and Karanvir Bohramorned the demise of the legendary actor.
