According to development Dileep Shankar was reportedly found dead in a hotel room near Vanross Junction in Thiruvananthapuram for the past few days. He was shooting for Television serial titled Panchagni, However on 29th he was found dead in hotel room.
According to local media reports, Dileep Shankar did not leave his room for two days. As the foul smell emerged, the staff informed the police. His co-stars were trying to reach him but could not get through. Probe has been launched as police is investigating the case. Forensic team arrived at the location and a post-mortem was reportedly carried out. However what lead to his death is still under observation.
According to report while interacting with The New Indian Express, a police source informed, “There are no signs of foul play at this stage. The exact cause of death will be ascertained after the postmortem”.
According to report director of the show revealed to the portal Manorama that Dileep was suffering from a serious illness and was undergoing treatment. There was a two-day break amid the shoot and the actor wasn’t reachable.
