Bollywood actress Kiara Advani recently addressed a social media post that claimed she wants her newborn daughter to have qualities of Kareena Kapoor Khan. After giving birth to a baby girl in July 2025, Kiara’s past statements resurfaced online, and one Instagram page captioned a photo saying, “Kiara Advani wants her daughter to have Kareena Kapoor’s qualities.”
Reacting to this, Kiara commented: “This was said during the promotions of our film Good Newwz. Kindly stop putting old interviews out of context.” She clarified that the remark was made in a past interview, not intended as a present directive.
In that older interview, Kiara had said she admired Kareena’s “confidence, expressions, aura” and said she would appreciate those traits in her daughter. But in the current scenario, she urged social media pages to not distort her words to create trending content.
The actress’s direct response drew mixed reactions. Many applauded her for correcting misinformation, while others felt she could have ignored the post. Hindustan Times+1 In any case, Kiara’s message underscores how celebrity statements often get reinterpreted when they resurface — and how difficult it can be to control context in the digital age.
