Katrina and Anushka shares moments with Yash Chopra

Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, the leading ladies of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, reminisce about the wonderful moments, spent on the sets with Yash Chopra, that have forever changed the way they look at acting. It was not just his skill as a filmmaker but also his sensitivity as a human being that set him apart for the people who have worked with him.

Anushka, said “My dad is an army man so I have rarely seen him cry. One day when I got back home, I saw him in tears and when I looked at the TV screen to note what had moved him so much, I saw that he was watching Veer Zaara. It was a very special moment with my dad and I thank Yashji for that,” she  adds that when she finally got a chance to work with him, she just could not believe her luck.

Katrina couldn’t stop getting emotional over this one memory that stands out during the shoot of Chopra’s last film as a director. “I was not getting a shot right despite repeated takes and we were running out of time. Yashji just started cracking jokes irrespective of the time constraints,” she says and adds, “He made me feel at home without making me conscious.”

 “Yashji had a child like enthusiasm and humility despite having achieved so much in life. Everyone loved him on the sets.  It was really special and surreal working for him.”
