Karan Johar Considers Standalone Film on Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra’s Love Story from ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who achieved major box office success with his 2023 directorial comeback ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, has sparked anticipation by hinting at a new project focused on the senior characters played by Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. In the original film, alongside the central romance of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, audiences were charmed by the poignant subplot involving Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi’s characters, who portrayed long-lost, rekindled lovers.

I may one day make a film on their love story in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani”.
