Actress Kangana Ranaut was seen very excited and happy as she welcomed her sister in law who stepped in her home for the first time after her marriage with Kangna’s brother Aksht. She referred to her as ‘Devi’ (goddess), on the auspicious occasion of Diwali on Saturday. Aksht recently tied the knot with Ritu.
She shared a few photos from the post-wedding ritual. Describing about the tradition, Kangana wrote: “Diwali ke din Mahalaxmi ghar aati hai. Humare ghar bhi devi aa rahi hai. Aaj humari bhabhi pehli baar apne ghar aa rahi hai. Is rasm ko Andrera (grihpravesh) kehte hai. Sabko Deepawali ki shubhkaamnayein (Goddess Mahalaxmi comes to our homes on Diwali. We are also welcoming Devi to our home. My sister-in-law will come to her house for the first time today. We call this ritual andrera. A happy Deepawali to everyone).” In the photos she was dressed up in an a white churidar- kurta, while the bride chose red salwar-kurta.
Kangana had shared another post wedding ritual’s photo on November 12. Her family visited “Kuldevi Maa Ambika for Darshan”.
