Kangana Ranaut meets BJP’s JP Nadda, posts about it on X 

Actor Kangana Ranaut recently posted on X (formerly Twitter) after meeting BJP national president JP Nadda. Sharing a picture on Tuesday evening, Kangana wore a pink saree and stood beside Nadda, smiling and holding a bouquet. Kangana wrote, “Today met National President Honorable Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji. I will always be grateful for his guidance and support, I will work hard for the progress and prosperity of my area Mandi. Jai Hind (National Flag emoji).”

The BJP recently announced her as the Lok Sabha candidate from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. Excited about this, Kangana expressed her feelings on Instagram stories, which read, “My beloved Bharat and Bhartiya Janta’s own party, Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) has always had my unconditional support, today the national leadership of BJP has announced me as their Lok Sabha candidate from my birth place Himachal Pradesh, Mandi (constituency) I abide by the high command’s decision on contesting Lok Sabha polls.”

She had also said, “I feel honoured and elated to officially join the party. I look forward to be a worthy karyakarta and a reliable public servant. Thanks.” 

In her upcoming project, the period drama film Emergency, Kangana plays the role of the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. This also marks her directorial debut, and the film is set to release on June 14. Emergency stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik.

Additionally, Kangana will collaborate with actor R Madhavan for an upcoming psychological thriller directed by Vijay. The film will release in both Hindi and Tamil.

Kangana’s post-meeting with JP Nadda reflects her growing involvement in politics alongside her thriving career in the film industry.
