Filmmaker Kabir Khan celebrated the 10th anniversary of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which was released on July 17, 2015. He said the film continues to bring strong emotions and joy even a decade later. The movie tells the touching story of Pawan (Salman Khan), a kind-hearted man who helps a mute girl from Pakistan, Munni (Harshaali Malhotra), return to her family across the border.

Kabir shared on Instagram, “Happy Bajrangi Day! … it’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since it first found its way into people’s hearts. … we set out to tell a story of love and hope in a world that sometimes forgets these emotions.” He added that many fans still tell him the film makes them both laugh and cry. “Knowing that Bajrangi didn’t just entertain, it healed,” he said.
On the red carpet at the I View World Film Festival, Kabir also reflected on how the love for the film has only grown over time. He mentioned plans to possibly re-release it, but only with a truly powerful vision.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan remains one of the most loved films of the decade, celebrated for its strong message of compassion and unity.
