Junaid Khan-Khushi Kapoor rom-com films in Mumbai, not Delhi

Contrary to earlier reports, the much-anticipated romantic comedy starring Junaid Khan (son of Aamir Khan) and Khushi Kapoor (daughter of Sridevi) is not filming in Delhi or the National Capital Region (NCR).

Shooting for the yet-untitled film began in Mumbai on Monday, June 17th. The initial three-week schedule focuses on filming at the Seven Eleven Club banquet hall in Mira Road.

Directed by Advait Chandan (known for “Secret Superstar” and “Laal Singh Chaddha”), this project marks Junaid’s debut in the romantic comedy genre.  The film is also Khushi Kapoor’s Bollywood launch.

Reports suggest the movie is a remake of the hit 2022 Tamil film “Love Today.”  Aamir Khan is even rumored to be involved in the pre-production phase.

Fans eagerly await this fresh pairing and the director’s take on a romantic comedy. While the shooting schedule aims to wrap before the monsoon season hits mid-June, details about the film’s title and release date are yet to be revealed.
