Ishaan Khatter Starer Homebound Gets Shortlisted For Oscar Awards 2026

It’s new milestone for Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor, Vishal Jethwan and KaranJohar, as their recent released Homebound get shortlisted for upcoming 2026 Oscars.

Well Homebound is Karan Johar’s project Homebound which  is now among 15 films that have become eligible for final nominations in the International Feature Film category at the Oscars 2026. 

According to report Homebound is being shortlisted for 2026 Oscar Awards in category of Best International Feature Film.

Homebound is Karan Johar’s project helmed by Neeraj Ghaywan starring Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor.

Soon after Homebound got shortlisted for Oscars 2026, Karan Johar starts feeling overwhelmed with emotions, and admits that he is unable to showcase his feelings at the moment.

For confirming news and excitement Dharma Movies took social media and shared poster of the film along with note “Homebound has been shortlisted for Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards. We’re deeply grateful for the extraordinary love and support we’ve received from around the world.”

On the other hand Karan Johar also took to Instagram “I am not sure I can articulate how proud, elated and over the moon I am with the journey of #HOMEBOUND… all of us @dharmamovies are privileged to have this proud and important film in our filmography,” he further added “Thank you @neeraj.ghaywan for making so many dreams of ours come true… from Cannes to being on the Oscar shortlist this has been such an overwhelming journey!
