Is all well with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma ?

Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif are currently riding the wave of friendship, as opposed to recent rumors of all being not too well between the two.

A while ago, there were rumors that the Anushka and katrina had fallen out over sharing the same make-up man. However, a source on the sets of their latest Yash Chopra film says that the two ladies are getting along like a house on fire. “The rumors about their fight are absolutely rubbish,” states the source.

Anushka says “We became friends instantly and would hang around together while shooting in London. It was refreshing to work with Katrina. She is very friendly”, the moment Katrina, her co-star in Yash Chopra’s upcoming untitled film, was mentioned. Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role and film is slated for diwali release.

‘Katrina is a very hardworking girl. It is not easy to achieve the kind of success she has. I give her all the credit and appreciation for her hard work.’ Anushka said

She lets out those lines nonstop and we can’t quite decide if it is the excitement of having bonded with Katrina or if she is merely parroting the lines. Yash Chopra’s new film is a romantic drama said to be based on the veteran filmmaker’s 1973 hit, Daag.

Anushka has been a favourite of the banner in the past few years. Her four films released so far have been produced by Yash Raj Films. Katrina currently seems to be the rage. She has YRF films with Salman Khan (Ek Tha Tiger), Aamir Khan (Dhoom 3) and SRK.

Anushka, however, is dismissive when you ask her about Bollywood’s current number one.

‘You watch films for entertainment. One’s position is not defined by numbers. One should be known for the kind of work one does,’ she said.
