“Desert Dancer” is based on biography of  Afshin Ghaffarian a self learned dancer residing in Iran, movie showcase journey of Afshin how Afshin went through hard phase and risked his life for fulfilling his dream of becoming dancer, during his dance journey Ghaffarian went through a phase when there was nationwide dancing ban taking place in Iran, in spite of  nationwide ban how he managed to fulfill his dream of becoming number one dancer .
