Gurmeet Choudhary Opened About Pain He Went Through Performing Action In Commander

Small screen turned Bollywood actor Gurmeet Choudhary who plays RAW agent in on going OTT series Commander which got premiered on Disney Plus on 8th July 2024 revealed about pain he went through.

During promotional event of OTT release of Commander revealed about injury he went through during shoot.

While interacting with media Gurmeet Choudhary recalled the very first sequence of Commander Karan Saxena. He said , “Well, it is said that jab aap kuch accha karne jaate ho toh buri nazar lag jaati hain. When I was shooting for the first sequence, there was an injury in my right shoulder. There was no rest as I was also shooting for something else too.” He further as Commander was his dream project as he got chance to do action sequences, but I got my both shoulder injured while performing action sequences, actor said till date he is not fully recovered as still he is unable to lift his hands properly. He further said “I have to go to physio and take painkillers. I used to take painkillers and go on set. I was scared that if I opened up about my shoulder injury, my action scenes would be reduced. I felt sir (Jatin Wagle) might reduce the number of shots. He used to take care of me a lot so that I didn’t get hurt,” actor opened about scene in which he got shoulder injury adding “One introductory scene that you see in the first episode where I am bare-bodied, before that, I visited a doctor in the morning. Later I took painkillers in my van so thoda bhi dard na ho and I can pull off the scene.”

We salute actor for his dedication towards work, as despite injury he did not surrender and managed to fullfil his dream of performing action.
