Bigg Boss is revving up for its third season, and fans are buzzing with excitement. However, this time, Salman Khan is stepping aside as host, handing over the reins to another Bollywood actor. According to the new host’s statement, he’s eager to inject his own unique flavor into the show.
For those unfamiliar, Bigg Boss OTT is the digital offshoot of the popular reality series Bigg Boss, which concluded its 17th season in January, with comedian Munawar Faruqui emerging as the winner. Faruqui triumphed over finalists including actors Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, and Abhishek Kumar, as well as YouTuber Arun Mashetty. While Salman Khan helmed most of the 17 seasons, he also hosted season two of Bigg Boss OTT.

In a surprising turn, Anil Kapoor is set to helm the third season of Bigg Boss, taking over from Salman Khan. Embracing his new role, the 67-year-old actor expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Bigg Boss OTT and I make a dream team!” Kapoor promises to infuse the show with his signature energy and dedication. Even his daughter, Sonam Kapoor, couldn’t contain her excitement, calling him “the most talented, hardworking, and handsome man” in a promotional Instagram post.

In addition to the exciting change in hosting, anticipation is high for the lineup of contestants in the upcoming season. Though the official list is still under wraps, a report from Times of India hints at potential participants including Tanushree Dutta, Ushmey Chakraborty, Ahana Deol, Trishala Dutt, and Bhavya Gandhi.
