As we are eagerly waiting to watch Golmaal 5, latest reports suggest upcoming Golmaal 5 is being inspired from yesteryear cult Do Aur Do Paanch.

Well Rohit Shetty is said to be great fan of yesteryear comedy project he made Golmaal Returns inspired from Aaj Ki Taza Khabar, Bol Bachchan inspired from Golmaal (1979), and Golmaal 3 was inspired from Khatta Meetha (1978), and now Golmaal 5 is inspired from Amitabh Bachchan-Emraan and Shashi Ji starer Do Aur Do Paanch.

Get ready to watch Tom & Jerry rivalry between Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar.

Upcoming Golmaal 5  is all set to go on floors in March 2026.

According to report in Golmaal 5
Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar will be playing two key characters in the story, alongside Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Sharman Joshi and Tusshar Kapoor, among others.

Sources also revealed “Rohit has taken the germ from the cult comedy and written a fresh screenplay palatable for today’s audience. The fight will be like that between Tom and Jerry, but with an outlook of how humans interact in 2026.”

Golmaal 5 will be out in theaters in 2027.
