From Bareilly to Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra is now getting the royal treatment from her own hometown Bareilly.

After winning the title of Miss World that too at such a young age, Priyanka has bought immense pride for her hometown and family.

If you are wondering how this driven actress packs in so much in just 24 hours, the response is simple,” I am a girl who came from Bareilly, then Boston and now Bollywood. The world is my oyster and I can be anybody I want to be. Who thought a budding engineer would be a movie star. I never expected life to be this good. I love what I do and am blessed I can do all that.”

Priyanka Chopra looks every inch the rock chick as she readies to take stage as one of the featured artists on the Thursday night kick-off of the National Football League- a feat no Indian has achieved yet.
Slim, svelte, in uber high heels, tights pants and a white top, the actress has plenty to sing about. The excited actress says,”Well I hope it all goes well. its’ a huge honour for me and am glad I have made my country proud”.

Well the lady is heading towards her hometown for a very special reason. She is very close to her family which is clearly evident by her ‘Daddy’s lil girl’ tattoo on her hand too. The last time pc was invited by the mayor was when she won the miss world crown

This is one of the biggest reasons why they feel so connected with her and want to felicitate her in her own hometown where even the youngest kid is in awe of PC and young girls look up to her as a flaming example.

Priyanka is very touched by this invitation and is also very happy as she was anyway planning to visit her hometown and take blessings of her elders over there.

She has always kept her roots very close to her and made them a part of her success equally.
