Fatima Sana Shaikh speaks about her replacement in ‘Bhoot Police’

Bhoot Police was announced last year, but could not go on floors due to pandemic this year. Well now since Bollywood is slowly coming back on track, the makers has announced a new cast of the film. Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh are replaced by Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam while only Saif Ali Khan has retained the original cast. In an interview, Fatima opened up and spoke about her being replaced. Read on further to know what she said.

When she was asked about the reason for her replacement in Bhoot Police, Fatima said, “First it was with Fox Star Hindi and now it’s with some other production house (Ramesh Taurani’s Tips). So, that was a massive change. Things are not that bigger and I am not upset. I mean, this is how it is. People make films and want it to be the best. They cast according to their liking and it’s fine.”

She was initially disappointed about it, but she had Ludo and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhaari in the pipeline, so she was ok with it. She said, “Yes, but I had Ludo and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhaari. Koi baat nahi, aur kaam milega.”

She concluded by saying, “What to do now? We can’t be bitter about everything.”
