Fardeen Khan returns to Bollywood in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’ 

Get ready for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic new series, “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar”! The buzz just got bigger with the reveal of new cast members, including Fardeen Khan! This marks Fardeen’s long-awaited acting comeback after a 14-year hiatus.

Fardeen will portray Wali Mohammed in the period drama, joining a star-studded cast that includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Singh, and Aditi Rao Hydari. A recently released photo shows Fardeen looking regal in traditional clothing and jewelry, hinting at his character’s importance.

Reacting to the first look, Bobby Deol took to the comments section and dropped high-five emojis. Meanwhile, Dia Mirza wrote, “Oh yay.” 

The cast also welcomes Shekhar Suman, Adhyayan Suman, and Taha Shah. Look out for Richa Chadha, Sharmin Sehgal, and Sanjeeda Shaikh as well! “Heeramandi” premieres on Netflix on May 1st.
