Emraan Hashmi’s Harami trailer is out

Emraan Hashmi starring Harami is one of the test international production that just dropped its official trailer and poster for the film. The movie is headed to the 2020 Busan International film festival. It has been nominated for the best film, best director and best audience award.

The story of Harami  is written and directed by Shyam Madiraju. The films marks the return of Emraan Hashmi to international story telling, and his love for hard-hitting and gripping films since 2014, when he collaborated with the Oscar winning director Danis Stanovich’s Tigers. Through his production house, Emraan Hashmi Films, he also co-produced the film with US based Germ Collective and other US producing partners.

The trailer captures the glimpsed of the fast paced, visually striking street saga of youth crime in Mumbai. This movie us the debut for 16-year-old Rizwan Shaikh who plays ‘Pachpan’, the leader of a pack of pickpockets, along with that of Dhanashree Patil, who plays Uma, the love interest of Pachapan. Some of the best international talent, collaborated for the film where Oscar winner Antonio Sanchez appeared as birdman and the sound mixed was given by Oscar winner Craig Mann (Whiplash) in Los Angeles.

The film is having it’s world premier on October 21st at the Busan Film festival.
