As the restrictions due to lockdown have been eased, apart from Maharashtra, the theatres and multiplexes have reopened. Because of this, our filmmakers are slowly and gradually releasing their movies on the big screen. Chehre starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi hit the screens last week and has been collecting rave reviews since then. In a recent interview with Emraan Hashmi.
The actor has been picking up off-the-beaten-track projects. He spoke about why he chose Chehre. He said that he was very intrigued with the content and material of the film. He said he was happy to chose the film as he got a chance to work with Big B and several other actors for the first time. He also opened on working with Rhea Chakraborty. He praised her work ethics. He said, “There was a lot of controversy surrounding her after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. But we shot this much before the controversy happened; I think we hit it off from the word go. She’s a fine actress and I think she’s doing a fantastic job with the character that she’s played.”
He further adds, “I think it’s very easy to work with her. She’s very professional but still a very chilled out, nice person to work with and very collaborative with scenes- we had some intense scenes together.”
