Did Really Karan Shelved Takht

OMG Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar shelves most awaited project Takht in which Alia and Ranveer was supposed to play lead.

Well if we go by latest development this report my dishearten viewers and fans who were eagerly waiting to know when project will go on floor, there are number of theories revolving around why filmmaker dropped idea of making Takht according some reports projects budget was too high as it was expectected it will cost between 250-300 taking into consideration due to ongoing covid-19 pandemic filmmaker may face loss as he is working on one more costly project Brahmastra from past two years apart from this he is working on many more projects taking into consideration that it might lead filmmaker to go through great loss he dropped idea of making Takht.

Some reports suggest from the very beginning project came into light their was no studio finalized, and there were reports doing around the corner that Fox Studios will produce project as studio was in partnership with Dharma productions, however later it was revealed that Dharma productions did not signed Fox Studios for Takht. On the other hand Karan tried to collaborate with other studios but efforts went into vain.

On the other hand report revealed as project is based on Mughal history, taking into consideration of current political senerio you never know when things can get ugly. Well we all know before Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat (2018) went through political heat it may be the reason Karan has shelved Takht.

Well it seems we have to wait for sometime till filmmaker himself come forward and officially reveal reason behind shelving project.
