Did Rakul Preet Singh accept a 50% pay-cut to compensate lockdown losses?

As we all know that for the last three months, the Bollywood Industry was on a complete standstill. This was because of the lockdown across the nation because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Now the industry is open, the film-makers and the actors are resuming work. But, since the producers have faced a substantial amount of loss, they are asking the actors to slash down their salaries. According to the latest reports on Bollywood, actress Rakul Preet Singh is one of those who accepted a pay-cut.

It was reported that this top actress of Bollywood and down south agreed to a 50% deduction in her remuneration, which is estimated to be Rs 75 lacs per project. Although she has not announced it officially, Rakul was happy to accept the pay cut to compensate for the losses of the producer.

Rakul Preet Singh is all set to share the screen with Jacqueline Fernandez and John Abraham in the upcoming action movie Attack. Besides this, she will also appear in a Telugu movie Nithin 28  with Nithiin and Priya Prakash Varrier.
