Deepika Request Viewers Not To Compare Her With Madhuri Dixit

“Happy New Year” star request viewers don’t compare my role of Mohini in “Happy New Year” with that of bollyood most versatile star and dance Madhuri Dixit.

According to reports Deepika is playing role of passionate dancer Mohini Joshi in her upcoming movie “Happy New Year”, which to some extent resembles with Madhuir Dixit’s name  Mohini in “Tezaab”. While interacting with media Deepika said please stop comparing my character with Madhuri Dixit’s outstanding character of Mohini, as my character is very much different to that of Madhuri Dixit which she portrayed in  “Tezaad” apart from name Mohini.

In “Happy New Year” viewers will witness Deepika delivering her dialogues in Marathi and Hindi flavor. She said being attached with Mumbai from past few years, I have understood body launguage of Marathi people, though my mother tongue is Konkani, which to some extent resemble with Marathi language. Though speaking in Marathi slang was bit tough for me, but I am feeling happy that I was able to speak Deepika added.

While concluding her interview Deepika said i feeling happy that i am working with Farah second time, before i did “Om Shanti Om” in 2007, Farah is a versatile director.
