Deepika Padukone’s video where she hopes Rahul Gandhi to be PM goes viral

As Deepika Padukone’s name popped up in the ongoing drug investigation of NCB, every was literally surprised. Extreme reactions were  seen on social media over the entire matter. The actresses support to the JNU students was also brought to the limelight again.

Earlier this year, before Chhapaak was released, Deepika had visited JNU campus supporting the students after the violent attack by masked goons. And now, her fans are doubting of some political motive behind her name being dragged in the case of NCB’s drug probe.

Amid these speculations, an old video of the actress is going viral. In the video, Deepika is seen praising Rahul Gandhi (Indian National Congress leader). Deepika Padukone says in the video, “Rahul Gandhi jo kar rahe hain humare desh ke liye, I think vo ek classic example hai and hopefully ek din woh khud Prime Minister ban jayenge (Whatever Rahul Gandhi is doing for the country makes him a classic example. Hopefully, he will be prime minister one day).”

“I think vo youth ke sath bohot connect hote hain, unka soch-vichaar traditional hai but at the same time futuristic bhi hai (I think he connects very well with the youth. His thinking is traditional, but futuristic at the same time),” she said this further in the video.
