Deepika And Alia Collaborating With SLB

Good news for Deepika and Alia fans as both stars are being consider by SLB in his next project.

Well filmmaker is all set with Baiju Bawra which is remake of 1952 super duper hit project with same title. For the same he was searching for lead actress.

News of Deepika and Alia becoming part of upcoming project is confirmed by spokesperson of SLB he revealed it’s a story of two girls, For both the girls, SLB has decided to go with his current favourites Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. He has narrated the script to both of them and they have both loved their parts. In all probabilities, Alia will be paired opposite Ranbir’s Baiju in the film, stepping into Meena Kumari’s shoes from the original. Deepika will play the other female lead, that of dacoit Roopmati essayed by Kuldip Kaur in the 1952 drama. Both the actors will be Ranbir’s romantic interests in the period saga and have shown a keen interest in the project. If this materialises, this will be a big casting coup for sure.”

According to sources in upcoming project Alia will step into shoes of Meena Kumar who eased role of Gauri and Deepika is going to step into shoes of Kuldip Kaur who eased role of Roopmati. Ranbir Kapoor is going to ease role Baiju, however second male lead is still not finalized.

Right now filmmaker is working on Gangubai Kathiawada in which lead role is played by Alia Bhatt.
