CBFC Pass Maidaan With Zero Cuts

Ajay Devgn most awaited project Maidaan passed with zero cuts by CBFC, movie duration is  3 hours 1 minute.

Only one week left for release Maidaan is going to have clash with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Taking into consideration that release date is coming close maker of flick started CBFC censor certificate process, according to report Maidaan got U/A certificate by CBFC. Best thing is movie got passed with zero cuts with condition of adding disclaimer stating that “the film is a work of fiction inspired by true events available in the public domain, views of the legendary football players, and research of writers with fictional elements.  disclaimer also includes that the use of certain dialogues is done purely to dramatize the incidents and that the film is not made to incite any lawlessness.

CBFC also asked maker to add disclaimer of anti smoking in scenes where the characters are seen smoking.

Maidaan is sports flick, helmed by Amit R Sharma. Backed up by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Zee Studios. Maidaan revolve around  golden era of Indian football, between 1952 and 1962 coached by Syed Abdul Rahim.
