Bollywood Superstar Sanjay Dutt was born on July 29, 1959. His father Sunil Dutt is well known actor, producer and politician, and his mother Nargis Dutt is well know Actress of bollywood, Sanjay Dutt made his debut in Hindi Movies in 1981. Sanjay dutt did his schooling from Lawrence School, Sanawar situated in Himachal Pardesh. He got married with Richa Sharma in 1987. But unfortunately Richa died due to brain tumour from this wedlock he have a daughter named Trishala and she lives in USA with her grandparents, following a custody battle with Dutt after the death of his wife. Sanjay’s once again got married to Rhea Pillai in 1998. But their marriage ended into divorced in 2005. Sanjay again got married with Manyata (also known as Dilnawaz Sheikh) in 2008 at Goa therefore after two years of long dating On 21 October 2010, Manyata gave birth to twins a boy named Shahraan and a girl named Iqra.
Sanjay dutt made his first entry into bollywood as Actor in Rocky which was released in 1981. After that he acted in Vidhata, Jeeva, Naam And Taaqatwar. As during this period he was indulge into drug addiction and his condition became critical therefore his parents ends him for getting rid of drug addiction to United States he spent his most of time in Texas rehab clinic before returning to India and resuming his career.
During his youth Sanjay got into drug addiction and remained addicted for several years, therefore in 1982 he spent five months in jail as police found some illegal substance from his possession.
After getting rid of drug addiction Sanjay dutt again made his entry into bollywood with Sadak, Khoon ka Karz, Khal Nayak, Saajan, and his movie Vaastav (1999) earned him the Best Actor in a Leading Role award at Filmfare awards. For his acting in Movie Mission Kashmir (2000) also earned him a award in the movie. Again he earned award for his role in movie Kaante (2002) his other movies such as:- Jodi No. 1, Hathyar, Kaante, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, Dus, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Shootout At Lokhandwala, Dhamaal, Blue and All The Best: Fun Begins these movies too were successful at the box-office. Though his movies Chatur Singh Two Star and Rascals failed to do good business at box-office. While his movie Double Dhamaal managed to do well. Sanjay played a role of Kancha Cheena in movie Agneepath for his role in Kancha Cheena For this he got big fanning
Sanjay played role of Kancha Cheena in Karan Johar’s Agneepath. The film turned out to be a super-hit and Sanjay’s role was liked by all.
He will be next seen in Ajay Devgan starrer Son Of Sardar. The film is expected to release in 2012. In 2013 he will be seen in movie Zila Gaziabad in this movie he is playing a role of Police Inspector.
On 31 July 2007, Sanjay Dutt was sentenced to six years rigorous imprisonment for illegally possessing weapons. Though anyhow he was “cleared of terrorism conspiracy charges in the blasts” related to the 1993 bombings. According to the Guardian Sanjay was feared for his life after the notorious “Black Friday” bombings, which were allegedly staged by Mumbai’s Muslim-dominated mafia in retaliation for deadly Hindu-Muslim clashes a few months earlier due to this he, bought the weapon for his protection. But the judge, Pramod Kode, rejected this defense and also refused bail.” without any delay he was immediately taken into custody and sent to Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail. After hearing Judges decision he got “visibly shocked and was seen shivering and holding back tears”. Later on 2 August he was shifted from Arthur Road Jail Mumbai to the Yerwada Central Jail Pune.
But luckily on 7 August 2007, Sanjay Dutt then went into appeal and on 20th August he was given interim bail by Supreme Court of India.. On 27 November 2007, Dutt was granted bail by the Supreme Court. But his appeal for acquittal is still pending. After releasing from jail he announced that he will take part into political contest in 2009 Lok Sabha Elections on the ticket of Samajwadi party but he anyhow he withdrew his candidacy in March 2009 after the Supreme Court refused to suspend his conviction, though he was given a post of General Secretary of the party. But he left the post of General Secretary in December 2010 as he was going under number of controversies.
In the year 2008 Sanjay Dutt got appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for IIMSAM.
In 2012 Sanjay entered into a new venture Raj Kundra and opened company Super Fight Promotion Pvt. Ltd and he launched India’s first professionally organized Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting league.
