Katrina Kaif Alias Katrina Turquotte was born on 16th July 1984 in Hong Kong in an Kashmiri Indian family her father name is Mohammed kaif and her mother’s name is name is Susanna Turquotte and she is British Citizen. Kaif is one of eight siblings, all girls, Katrina has spent consequent years in Hawaii and then in London. She started modeling at the age of 14 when she was staying in Hawaii , her parents got divorced when she was too young. After coming to India Katrina changed her surname to kaif that of her father. Katrina is former model. Katrina has also appeared in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam Movies. As she is British Citizen therefore she work in India on employment visa. As she is British therefore she has problem in talking Hindi.
As her mother was working in a NGO due to this she have to travel different countries therefore Katrina took education from different countries such as France, China, Hong Kong, Germany, Japan and Hawaii. As some people don’t have knowledge that she was doing her engineering in London when she was 17 years old but later she was quit her studies as she did not found any interest in engineering as she wanted do something in modeling field and film industry. Therefore at the age of 17 she came to India for search of her career in glamour’s world of India film industry.
Katrina Kaif got number of modeling assignments as soon as she entered India, due to her innocent expressive face, and slim trim figure. Katrina Kaif made her first appearance as Actress in 2003 with Kaizad Gustad’s Boom. Then in 2005 she was casted in Ram Gopal Verma’s movie Sarkar in this movie she played a role of Abhishek Bachchan’s girlfriend. Same year she got her major role in David Dhawan’s Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya in this movie she appeared alongside Salman Khan. Following year she acted opposite Akshay Kumar in movie Humko Deewana Kar Gaye though this movie did not do good business at the box office and movie got flop.
Katrina Kaif earned her first commercial success in movie Namastey London directed by Vipul Shah in 2007, same year she earned popularity for playing glamorous role in a male centric movie Partner, she acted in movie Race (2007), Singh is King (2008), later she played a important role in movies like New York (2009), Rajneeti (2010), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), and Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and this movie became the second highest grossing movie of the year. . Kaif’s second release of 2012 was Yash Raj Chopra’s romantic thriller movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan in this she acted alongside Shah Rukh Khan. In 2013 she will be seen in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s adventure film Dhoom 3 in this movie she will be working alongside Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and she will also be seen in Siddharth Anand’s Bang Bang in this movie she will be seen alongside Hrithik Roshan
It has been found that though she is very adorned and have gorgeous looks she is not that easily intimidated, but Katrina confess she is very emotional and sensitive and she is very much vexed about her privacy. When it comes to clothing Katrina like wearing comfortable and non-revealing cloths while she is at home, she also dislikes putting make-up. She said when she entered into India she was feeling too lonely but as year passed know she have number of friends with them she can hang out with and enjoy her free time.
When someone from media asked did Salman Khan helped her get entry into bollywood. Katrina Kaif said it’s all rubbish how come any producer can take a risk of millions of rupees at the request of any person. As film industry is highly competitive therefore no one get break on some ones request instead gets break due to one’s talent. She said that my relationship with bollywood actor Salman Khan is personal therefore I don’t like talking it publically. Therefore what I do in my personal life it’s no one’s business to interfere in it.
