Bollywood Actress Kareena Kapoor (Bebo) is a fourth generation kid of legendry kapoor family who is been in film industry from last five decades. She was born on 21st September 1980. She is a daughter of legendry stars Randhir Kapoor and Babita. Her elder sister is karisma kapoor she is also a well known actress of bollywood industry. Kareena Kapoor has launched her own clothing line associating with brand ambassador for the retail chain of Globus.On 16th Octobor 2012 she got married with Saif Ali Khan who is also well known star of bollywood.
Kareena kapoor made her first appearance as star in movie Refugee(2000) in this movie she worked opposite Abhishek Bachchan though this movie did not do well and it was a average movie. She got success in 2001 when her movie Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham made a record of highest overseas grossing movie of the year. Same year she was also seen in movies like Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Yadeen, Ajnabee and Ashoka.
During 2002 and 2003 Kareena Kapoor’s films not did good business as she faced the setback the movies were Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Jeena Sirf Mere Liya, Khushi, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoo, LOC Kargil. Her movies released in 2004 and 2005 received cool response at the box-office movies were Chameli, Yuva, Fida, Aitraaz, Dev, Hulchul, Bewafaa, Dosti. Though her role in movie Chameli and Dev were critically acclaimed. In 2006 Kareena Kapoor was seen in 36 China Town, Chup Chup Ke, Omkara and she also did one song in movie Don-The chase begins again.
In the year 2007 Kareena Kapoor was seen in movie Jab We Met and this movie was hit and therefore this movie got her big fan following. In this movie she played a role of free spirited, fiery sikhni with gusto. In 2008 she worked in movie Tashan and this movie got flop. In 2008 she dubbed an animation movie Roadside Romeo this movie was made under the banner of Yash Raj and Walt Disney Pictures and she dubbed her voice for character Laila. In 2009 Kareena Kapoor was seen in movie Kambakkht Ishq and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna both the movies did not do so well. Though her movies kurbaan and 3 Idiots got her nominated for r Filmfare Award for Best Actress. Next she was seen in Karan Johar movie We Are Family in (2010), a Hindi adaptation of Hollywood’s Stepmom (1998) saw her playing the role originally portrayed by the talented, Julia Roberts. This role also made her achieve Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has also worked in series of Golmaal, Golmaal Return and Golmaal 3.
In 2011 Kareena Kapoor acted in movie Ra-One in this movie she acted opposite Shah Rukh Khan and later Kareena acted opposite Salman Khan in Bodygaurd and both the movie did good business at box office. In 2012 she was seen opposite Imran Khan in Ek Main Aur Ek Tun and this movie also did good business at box. In 2012 Kareena Kapoor also worked in movies Agent Vinod with Saif Ali Khan, Talaash with Aamir Khan and Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine. After the release of Heroine She got married with Saif Ali Khan.
Till date Kareena Kapoor has be involved in number of humanitarian causes. During November 2003 she performed at a fundraiser for the World Youth Peace Summit. In 2005 participated in a concert for raising money for the sake of Victims of 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and Tsunami. She appeared on NDTV Greenathon, in this program she adopted the village of Chanderi which is situated in MP for providing it electicity. Later Kareena Kapoor participated in UNESCO and FIFA’s international campaign . 1Goal Education for all. In March 2011 Kareena was appointed as ambassador for the Shakti and this project was also launched by NDTV.
