Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar, is also an environmentalist and a climate change advocate. She spearheads the hugely lauded social media initiative Climate Warrior that aims at raising awareness towards protecting nature. Being an environmentalist, she has taken up climate conservation as a cause for life. By this social initiative of Climate Warrior, she aims to mobilise the Indians to actively participate in protecting the environment. Due to he environmental work, she has been invited to speak at the prestigious Climate Week in New York.

During the Climate Week NYC, the actress would be speaking on the 23rd of September. This year it is the thirteenth year of Climate Week NYC and is the largest climate week on earth.
