Basu Chatterjee Passed Away

Bollywood legendary filmmaker Basu Chatterjee passed away he was 93 years old in Mumbai on 4th June.

According to sources filmmaker passed away due to age-related ailments.

Legendary filmmaker made his directorial debut in 1996, and for the very first directorial venture Sara Akash he received Filmfare Best Screenplay Award.

Legendary filmmaker directed block buster projects like Choti Si Baat, Rajnigandha, Baaton Baaton Mein, Chitchor, Ek Ruka Hua Faisla.

Apart from directing movies he also directed two TV serials Byomkesh Bakshi and Rajani which got aired on Doordarshan, both the series won hearts of million TV viewers.

Soon after filmmakers death news came out number of Bollywood celebrities and politicians took social platform twitter to condole demise.
