Asin earning name as 100 Crore Queen

Yesterday was Asin Thottumkal birthday. She was born 26 October 1985 in Kochi and grew up there with parents Joseph and Seline. She succeeds with first film itself in South film industry and Bollywood.

Her first debuted film in Malayalam film Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka in 2001 after her first commercial success with debuted Telugu film ‘Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi and Her huge success with Tamil debuted movie M.Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi. Her first Hindi film Ghajini opposite with Amir Khan the movie collected more than 100 crore in the box office.

Despite having the successful career in Kollywood, Asin’s interests moved to Hindi where she made her debut with London Dreams. The following films, including Ready with Salman Khan, Housefull 2 with Akshay Kumar and Bol Bachchan with Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan are all blockbusters and touched the 100 crore collection mark.

Currently, Asin is working on her next with Akshay Kumar, Khiladi 786, and is quickly earning the name of ‘100 Crore Queen’ in Bollywood.

The actress is known to party with her close circle of seven friends but this time it was different. Asin is currently shooting at Film City.

Speaking to us on the eve of her birthday, the actress said, “It has been a crazy and chaotic month for me so far so I have not even thought about my birthday as such. My film is releasing in December and we have to finish work as all of us are racing against time.” Apparently, the actress has slept very little, as she has been busy shooting and travelling for work.
