Good news for Anurag Kashyap’s fans who were eagerly waiting to know when his controversial directorial debut project Paanch Kay Kay Menon. and Tejaswini stater will be out in theaters, well recently producer Tutu Sharma came forward and revealed Punch will be out in theaters next year.
Anurag Kashyap was a first Bollywood filmaker who created new waves in cinema with projects like Black Friday (2007), No Smoking (2007), Dev D (2009), Gulaal (2009), Gangs Of Wasseypur (2012) etc. Sadly, his debut directorial Paanch never saw the light of day, it all happened due to number of objections raised by Central Board of Film Certification and on other hand project faced numerous other challenges. Paanch has been stuck in chose for more than two decades, well now official conformation of movie release is out.
While opening with Popular online portal Tutu Sharma revealed Anurag Kashyap’s most awaited project Paanch is definitely coming next year. I plan to release it in cinemas within six months. The film was banned and the negatives have slightly deteriorated. The process of restoring them has already started. As soon as it’s ready, we’ll release Paanch.
