Ankit Tiwari Charged With Rape Case

According to reports Ankit Tiwari who sang songs in movie Aashiqui 2, was booked under rape charges when his girlfriend who is advertising proffessional approched Versova Police Station alleging rape case against him. In her statement she added that Ankit Tiwari raped her number of time since July 2013 on pretext  of marriage. According to inspector Machidra Vadkhe victim has submitted detailed complaint in written at police station in Feburary, on the basis of complaint we have registerd FIR against accused in March. Therefore after verifying all the evidence we arrested Ankit Tiwari on Thursday.

Police further added victim was a divorcee and she was introduced to Ankit through a common friend in Oct 2012.

In her statement victim added that Ankit went to victim’s sister residence when she sent invitation to attend a party in July 2013, she added during party Tiwari asked her to drink alcohol and later raped her, after this incident when victim confronted him, Ankit straightway went to victim’s house with sachet of sindoor and enacted a dramatic wedding, after doing this he promised her that he will get marriage rigesterd at registrar office. Next day when she asked Ankit to come at BMC office in Goregaon to register marraige, Ankit did not turn up. In her statement she alleged Ankit’s brother Ankur threatned her with dir consequences   at the point of knief to end ongoing relationship.

On the other hand Advocate Neeraj Gupta representing Ankit and Ankur, added all the facts given by victim are false. Truth is that victim was asking Rs 3 crore from Ankit, which he did not pay, due to this victim lodged complaint against his client.
