The super hit and critically acclaimed movie Black, which was based on life of a deaf and dumb, completed 16 years of its release. The icon of the film industry Amitabh Bachchan, who beautifully portrayed the role of the teacher of the deaf and dumb girl (played by Rani Mukherjee) turned nostalgic celebrating the 16th birthday of his film. He felt that this film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali was ahead of time.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Amitabh posted video clip & a picture from the film where he is sitting with Rani and looking at the snow fall. “It has been 16 years…since Debraj Sahai. Black…a movie way ahead of its time. Every dialogue, every instance in the movie was so beautifully crafted, that it has engraved its existence in everyone’s heart, including mine. #16YearsOfBlack #RaniMukerji #SanjayLeelaBhansali,” Big B captioned his post on Instagram.
