Amit Sadh partners with STAIRS to empower youth

Actor Amit Sadh expressed his joy in contributing to the empowerment of the country’s youth through sports and education. Recently appointed as the ambassador for the STAIRS Foundation, he inaugurated the National Youth Games hosted by the NGO in Delhi on Saturday. He sees this role as a valuable opportunity to inspire and support young people in their journey towards success. By promoting sports and education, Sadh aims to instill confidence and drive positive change in the lives of the youth, fostering a brighter future for the nation.

He said “The main aim is to empower and uplift the youth of our nation, fostering self reliance and strength. The ideology, vision and principles and morals of the organisation and their initiative, resonated with mine and kind of matched with the voice inside me.”

The games feature the skills of many young athletes, with an impressive five thousand gold medalists chosen from a pool of two lakh athletes in different sports. Amit expresses the goal to expand this initiative to every state, emphasizing his desire to reach every part of the country with this vision. He said, “It’s like a convergence of thousands of young athletes from the whole country and these games serve as a platform for them to compete and exhibit their skills. I was very excited to be a part of this thought process. This is the first step, to conduct programmes and competitions.”

The actor states his connection with the STAIRS Foundation is more than just support; it’s a deep alignment of beliefs. Drawing from personal experience, he highlights how sports can profoundly shape one’s character.
