Ameesha Patel Appears in Ranchi Court for Cheque Bounce Case

Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel, known for her role in Gadar 2, appeared before a Ranchi court on September 21, 2023, in connection with a cheque bounce case. The case was filed by producer Ajay Kumar Singh, who claimed that Patel owed him ₹2.5 crore. According to Ajay Singh, Ameesha had borrowed this amount for the production of her film Desi Magic. However, the cheques she issued for repayment reportedly bounced due to insufficient funds.

Ameesha Patel has been facing legal trouble over this issue for quite some time. Earlier, she was granted interim bail by the court. However, she had to appear in person for the ongoing proceedings.

The actress has maintained that the issue would be resolved, but legal proceedings continue. This cheque bounce case is one of several controversies Ameesha Patel has been involved in over the years. Despite the legal hurdles, she has recently made a successful comeback with Gadar 2, which has been a major box-office success.
