Alia said our intention is not to target anyone through “Udta Punjab” we are not showcasing who are involved in drug mafia, however we are only focusing on how one could fight back to come out of addiction.
Few days back there were news doing around the corner that censor board is not in mood to give clean chit to movie as they disclosed movie is still going through censor certification procedure.
Alia while interacting with media said “Udta Punjab” is not targeting anyone its only making audience aware about this issue which is not only persisting in India but around the globe. I want to make clear after watching this movie viewers will get important message in a way of education, as how worse this addiction is. This problem not only persist in Punjab it persist in whole India.
Our main aim behind this flick is to make youngsters aware about this deadly addiction.
Movie is all set to release on 17th June.
