Alia Bhatt celebrates 5 years of ‘Udta Punjab’ with throwback videos from sets

Alia Bhatt is one Bollywood diva who mesmerizes fans with her gorgeous natural beauty as well as spectacular acting skills. The actress recently celebrated the 5^th birthday of one of her iconic film Udta Punjab. The actress was just 23 when she played the role. Taking to her Instagram handle, she had shared a series of BTS videos with the fans while remembering the film. This film was helmed by Abhishek Chaubey, also featured Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh in major roles.

This film digged deeper into the vicious drug crises of Punjab and raked up a lot of controversies for the same. Besides these controversies, Udta Punjab was lauded by critics and audiences alike. The BTS video clips started from getting her makeup done to rehearsing her scenes with other cast members.  The film is about intertwined stories of a big-shot singer, a migrant labourer, a doctor, and a cop, all of who are struggling to cope up with their lives surrounding a drug crisis in the state of Punjab.
