Akshay A Biopic Star

Real story actor Akshay Kumar who has done number of biopics is all set for another real story this time actor is going to ease a role of real time hero Jaswant Singh Gill, who was part of operation of Raniganj Coalfield rescue operation that took place in 1989.

According to sources jaswant Singh Gill was former Additional Chief Mining Engineer, who did rescue operation for evacuating 65 coal miner trapped in flooded mine, he accomplished missing by drilling a borehole and going inside mine alone, for his act of bravery he was awarded Sarvottam Jeevan Rakshak Padak in 1991 by Indian President Ramaswamy Venkataraman.

While interacting with media Akshaye disclosed, I am feeling proud to play character of brave man Jaswant Singh Gill, I thanks filmmaker having faith in me.

According to sources Akshay has acquired copy rights of real life story of Jaswant Singh Gill. On the other hand actor is all set with another real story which will be based on hockey player Balbir Singh, who led Indian hockey team and manage to win first Olympic medal in 1948, biopic is titled Gold.
