While probing Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, the Forensic Department of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has been roped in by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to get a medico-legal opinion in the matter. However the forensic team along with that of the CBI needs to look into some legal aspects before reaching a “logical legal conclusion”.
According to Sudhir Gupta, Chairman of AIIMS Forensic Medical Board, “AIIMS and CBI are in agreement on the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, but more deliberations are needed. There is a need to look into some legal aspects for a logical legal conclusion”. This remark came after a week when the AIIMS forensic team came back from Mumbai after looking into the case thoroughly.
The AIIMS team recreated the death scene along with the CBI team. They were also accompanied by Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Mitu Singh, his flatmate Siddharth Pithani, and Sushant’s domestic staff Neeraj, Keshav Bachne and Dipesh Sawant. The autopsy report of the late actor, prepared by the doctors of the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai was also considered by the team.
