Aamir Khan praised for waiting in line during Chennai floods by Tamil Nadu minister

Dr. TRB Rajaa, the Minister for Industries in Tami Nadu, praised Bollywood star Aamir Khan for his admirable behavior during the flood situation in Chennai. Unlike those who use their influence to get themselves out of difficult situations, Aamir patiently waited for his turn. 

Currently residing in Chennai to care for his sick mother, Aamir faced a lack of power and internet connectivity in the affluent neighborhood of Karapakkam. In the same area, Tamil actor Vishnu Vis minishal highlighted the dire situation through images shared on Twitter. Seeking help from the government, Vishnu prompted an immediate response from the corporation, which sent boats to rescue those affected by the floods. Aamir was among those rescued, demonstrating a valuable lesson to everyone.

Vishnu Vishal then thanked the government for the prompt action and shared pictures with Aamir Khan and the rescue team. He wrote with the photos,

“Thanks to the fire and rescue department in helping people like us who are stranded Rescue operations have started in karapakkam.. Saw 3 boats functioning already Great work by the TN govt in such testing times Thanks to all the administrative people who are working relentlessly.”

Sharing the actor’s tweet, Tamil Nadu Minister, Dr. TRB Raaja wrote,

“Thanks for the appreciation @TheVishnuVishal and please do thank the gentleman next to you for being such a class human being! Astounding that he didn’t try to pull any strings to be rescued! Awesome to see him being so grounded and WAITING HIS TURN to be rescued just like any of our fellow citizens. Lessons for those who try to pull strings and drop names! Hats off to people like Thiru Khan for being sensitive to the scale of the issue at hand and patiently awaiting their turn. We will continue to stick to our Rescue Schedule.”
